Veritone Media, a full-service advertising agency that creates native and traditional advertising for some of the world’s most recognizable brands, announced today its name change to Veritone One. The new positioning is part of the agency’s strategic path to bridge traditional advertising with expansive media services, and reflects the company’s media service offerings, which now span beyond radio, podcast, and YouTube to include television, digital and social media. The announcement comes with agency expansion, as Veritone One has added top industry talent to lead new growth areas and support the agency’s seamless full-service offerings.
The Veritone One point of difference is that it leverages proprietary artificial intelligence technology to track and evaluate advertising with unmatched intelligence using a first-of- its-kind Cognitive Media Platform™ (CMP), which provides near real-time audio and video capture, indexing and analytics. The platform ingests thousands of hours of audio and video content daily, leveraging its powerful suite of integrated cognitive engines, including logo detection, natural language processing, voice fingerprinting, facial recognition and object detection, creating a rich and actionable database and index. The groundbreaking technology allows companies to fully analyze the efficacy of their advertising for the first time ever.
This is an exciting and pivotal time for our agency. The new name, ‘Veritone One,’ speaks to how we provide clients with a single media services solution that covers broadcast, digital and social media with best-in-class service across the board,” said Ryan Steelberg, President, Veritone One. “As part of this expansion, we are excited to announce the addition of Sean Patrick King to head our audio and television operations and Cameron Jonsson along with members of his former Reach + Acquire team to lead our digital and social media efforts. Both will help us accelerate the realization of our vision of what a full-service agency should be.”
A senior executive with more than 15 years of experience, King has extensive media, marketing and operations experience. Before joining Veritone One, King spent six years with AdMore and REVShare, both Media Properties Holdings (MPH) companies backed by Carlyle and HIG. He held various senior level management positions and was an integral member in conceptualizing and launching AdMore, which quickly became one of the nation’s largest automated TV ad platforms. MPH was acquired by Cannella Response Television in 2016.
Cameron Jonsson is a seasoned digital marketing and advertising executive who takes an integrated and data-driven approach to scaling advertising programs. Prior to joining Veritone One, Cameron was the founder and CEO of Reach + Acquire, a specialized digital marketing firm, bringing over 10 years of digital strategy experience to clients. Over his career, Cameron has led the digital strategy, customer acquisition and retention efforts for hundreds of companies, ranging from venture-funded start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations.
